This is the first time we have ever offered a painted set of these stable mate Mustangs, sculpted by by Linda York! These amazing little beauties were painstakingly painted by one of our new Artists, Kollean Gouyton from Juneau, Alaska. Kollean has absolutely impressed us with her ability to paint and detail these tiny little horses. Very few artists have the patience, let alone the eyesight, to be able to paint horses as tiny as the baby Tango. Hats off to you, Kollean! This is Calisto, the Stallion of the family. Kollean has given him a very detailed smokey grey and white pinto coat, and he comes with a certificate of authenticity. Kollean has also named this majestic Spanish stallion "Viento De la Noche", which means 'Night Wind'. Neat name, Kollean!
And this is Riata, the mare, and tiny little Tango, the foal. Kollean has really proven her ability to paint when she took on this set! Tango is TINY! Our new artist has given this pair new names as well. The mare is named "Salida del Sol", which means "Sunrise" and little Tango is named 'Rose Rojo', which means 'Red Rose'.
