Sergei, black dapple leopard Appaloosa by Kim Burd

Boy is it ever hard to let this handsome fellow go! Anyone that knows artist Kim Burd's Appaloosas, knows what a treasure this lovely stallion is. The detail in this horses paint job is absolutely breath taking. He is majestic and realistic and will excel in any class you put him in. Get ready to win! From my personal collection~

Liz-Beth was having a ball with this spirited and flashy Appaloosa stallion. What's your verdict, Liz? "This is a super talented horse! He has enough energy to last the whole day and he's sharp and accurate as well. He's just waiting for the next command!" Thanks, Liz! He sure has beautifully striped hooves, doesn't he?

As always, it's such a treat when Alicia can get time to come by the ranch. I think her "Hopi-sense" was working today though, as she just seemed to 'know' we had a spotted horse on the ranch! What do you think about THIS guy, Alicia? "OOOOH! I am so excited! My grandfather told me I would someday ride a horse that was to bring harmony to opposition. This horse shows the sky is white, and the stars are black, but he still runs like the wind"!
My goodness, Alicia! He must be a truly special horse. Hey, did you know the Nez Pearce Indians are crossing in Akhal Teke blood with their Appaloosas to help build up the breed? You can learn more about these amazing horses on http://www.nezperceappaloosas.com/sys-tmpl/door/ Hey, Jolene! Did you see this new stallion?

Oh give it up you guys! The original Appaloosas never had any of that Russian Ankhal Teachie blood in them! That horse is just a half-breed! Oh well...you DO know why the Indians always rode Appaloosas into battle, don't you? So they'd be really pissed off by the time they got there!
Oh my goodness, Jolene! We know you're just kidding us! Actually Jolene may be wrong about the original Appaloosas not having Akhal Teke blood in them....some experts say evidence exists that they DO....
