Here he is, folks! The ultimate "Akhal-Loosa"! This
is the horse the Nez Pearce Indians strive for in their breeding
programs involving the Appaloosa and the Akhal Teke. This beautiful
horse by Berit Andersen sports a neat, lacy blanket, striped
hooves, and minimal mottling. He exudes a quite class about him....just
a slight aire of superiority that is unmistakable in his very
detailed eyes. He's amazing, Berit! $385. |

This big guy arrived at the ranch straight from the track.
It was Liz-Beth's day off, so the only information we have on
him is that he was big money-winner on the track. He was gentle
enough to handle on the ground, but he's an extremely hot horse,
and he seems to be quite accustomed to wearing those roses!
Wow! |

There is just no hiding a spotted horse from Alicia! I swear,
her "Hopi-Sense" works overtime, and we were so surprised
when she showed up here with her crew from Victoria's Secret
to do a photo shoot with this horse. We were quite nervous about
this since Alicia's riding skills are very limited and Sergei
an extremely powerful stallion. But she insisted we let her do
the shoot, and since Jess, our photographer, was right here to
help, and Jolene was nearby, we gave in. Fortunately, the shoot
went just beautifully. Sergei actually seemed to enjoy her antics
and was amused at her lack of concern. Whew! Hey, there's Jolene!
Let's go thank her for being nearby..... |
 |
"Just what is it you guys use for brains these days?
Scrambled eggs?! You take an idiot horse and put an equally
idiot rider on it! Hey! Good match"!
(Jolene is being a little impatient right now it seems. Oh well...we
actually have some gossip on Jolene...we overheard Jess asking
her out for a cup of coffee! She declined to acquiesce his request,
though!) |

Poor Jess! I don't think Jolene likes his horse! |
