Rembrant, Frosted Blue Roan by Yvonne Davey
Here is probably the hardest horse to part with that I have ever had! This is the stunning Rembrant, sculpted by Janet Edington and painted by artist-extraordinaire Yvonne Davey. He is the first Painted Rembrant we have offered for sale, and he is just shimmering with life. Yvonne is famous for her roans, and this majestic fellow is a wonderful example of Yvonne at her best. His facial features are so beautifully blended and the shading so perfect, it is just breath taking. Rembrant can represent several of the heavier draft breeds, and here, he could well be shown as a Brabant in this amazing blue roan. This is a special horse and I hope he goes to a show home...he needs to be seen! Many thanks to Yvonne for breathing the breath of life into this outstanding horse. VERY hard to let him go! $425.
It's hard to get good pictures in this autumn sun, but just take a look at the realism in those hooves! Yvonne is a master at these fine details, which is a talent you seldom see. Yvonnes hooves are absolutely amazing. She has also added alot of detail to the frosting on this stallions mane, which really accentuates Janet Edingtons perfect sculpting. The combined talent of these two artists is a true gift to our hobby. Many thanks to you both!
