I t is hard to let this beautiful horse go! Reknowned artist Sommer Prosser painted this Indigo as a portrait of the real PMU rescue gelding from TIBBP, Indigo. Indigo changes colors every 4 months, and Sommer has captured him in his pale blue roan summer coat. She did an absolute stunning job on him! His eyes are so soulful, just like the real boy. His markings are spot on, too. Indigo is a PMU colt, that we rescued 5 years ago when he was a baby. He is the reason we started The International Blessed Broodmare Project. Like so many of the slaughter-bound PMU babies, he is of mixed heritage. His mother was 1/2 Clydesdale, 1/2 Norweigian Fjord. His father was an 'old style' Brabant Belgian. Indigo seems to take most his characteristics from the Brabant and the Fjord. He is only 15.2 hands tall. This sculpture was done by Sue Sifton, and it is an excellent rendition of the real Indigo. Only $350. plus shipping. |

| And here's the real horse! Indigo is an amazing horse. Beautiful and intuitive, many folks say he is a "Narnia Horse". We think the resin Indigo could show as a 'Cob' or various part-draft mixes. We'd love to see him out in the show ring. MANY thanks to Sue Sifton, and Sommer Prosser for bringing this lovely horse to the hobby.
