Ikantu, Liver Chestnut Appaloosa by Alice McWaters

I give up. I just can not seem to get decent pictures of this gorgeous horse without the glare of the sun. Sigh! Well if you are familiar with artist Alice McWaters work, you don't need a picture anyway!  Alice has given our Ikantu the most beautiful liver chestnut Appaloosa paint job you have ever seen. This horse has been in my china hutch for a while now, but he really needs to be shown so he can promote Alice's excellent work. I feel too guilty keeping him! He is an absolute beauty, despite these awful pictures. See to believe!  $350. plus shipping
Ikantu looks so sharp in English tack. This is such a versatile horse. Hey, Liz!  What's YOUR verdict on this new gelding?  "Ikantu is a very kind horse. He drops his head and just waits for you to ask him to do something. I think he makes a great English or Western Pleasure mount"
Thanks, Liz. We can always count on you to give us a nice evaluation on our new horses!
Well we sure can't hide a spotted pony from Alicia!  It's always so much fun when she shows up here with her photographers from Victoria's Secret to do a photo shoot using one of our Native American horses and costumes!  Today, we see she has talked our Indian Brave into being a 'prop' in some of the filming!  He doesn't seem to be too put out over it....I do believe I see a very faint smile to his face in some of the angles.....!
Many thanks to Alice McWaters for bringing this future champion to the hobby. Very hard to let this guy go!
