Balewou, Grey Leopard Appaloosa by Kim Swanson

Wow! Look at this! Here is the first painted Balewou we have offered for sale, and what better artist then Kim Swanson to have the honor of this debut. Balewou was originally sculpted by Melanie Schulmeyer to be an African Dongola horse and I do not know if Dongolas come in Appaloosa coat patterns or not, but it's possible. Whatever, he makes and incredible Appy and Kim has not held back on the detailing on this horse. My photography does not do this magnificant horse justice as you can not see all the amazing shading and single-hair painting she has done. His mouth is beautifully realistic, teeth so delicately done, and his eyes accentuate his spirited pose. Don't miss out on this first painted Balewou! He'd gorgeous! Thanks so much, Kim! $385.

This Appaloosa Balewou by Kim Swanson makes a perfect Indian horse and our resin Indian brave rides him easily with just a scrap of fur and a rope bridle. The possibilities are endless!

Here's Balewou in his native African costume made by his sculptor, Melanie Schulmeyer. This costume is authentic in every way, and just look how realistic that bit looks in his open mouth. Beautiful, hand-stitched for realism, Melanie made this set especially for Balewou and she is willing to make more of them. This will be an unbeatable competitor in the show ring!
